I am proud to say our 2011-2012 Fourth Grade Class scored 100% on the Spring ARMT+!! Mrs. Faulk and I are very proud of our students! Their hard work and firm committment is a shining example for future classes. Our school set a precedent - WGS had 100% in all grades, 3 - 5, tested! How great is that! Congratulations and great job, students, teachers, administration, faculty, and staff. It is validation of the terrific teamwork and committment we witness everyday in our school.

Our Seashell Display
After receiving a seashell, students decided upon an oceanside area to research. Combining fact with fiction, they wrote stories from the viewpoint of their seashell. Research included information on the city, country, language, food, ocean, and various other facts about their shell's home on the sand. Their stories are fabulous! Our hallway display looks great! Yes, we are dreaming of warmer days!
